FACULTY OF "UZBEKISTAN NATIONAL MUSICAL ART"

The Faculty of Uzbek National Musical Art was established when the institute began its activities, following Decree No. 536 "On the organization of the activities of the Yunus Rajabi Institute of Uzbek National Music Art" dated September 2, 2020.

The faculty aims to train performers in Uzbek national musical art, including the art of maqom instrument performance, educate future composers in Uzbek national composition, enhance scientific potential in the field of bakhshi and dastan, as well as carry out spiritual, educational, and character-building work.

The multifaceted activities of the faculty are focused on providing education and development in Uzbek national musical art, including national maqom performance, as well as promoting masterpieces of Uzbek national musical heritage both in our country and abroad.

One of the faculty's priority tasks is to widely promote Uzbek national musical art, including the performance of national maqoms, and to nurture the spiritual development of student youth.
